Just Us Girls #33 - Color Challenge

Hi there...I like using patriotic colors and I thought I would play along with the Just Us Girls #33 color challenge this week. The color challenge was to use red, white, blue and craft as an optional color.

I've been using my new favorite stamps from Papertrey Ink, Dot Spot and Enjoy the Ride with the fun car die cut to match. I also used a star from PTI Star Prints stamp set. I made my own patterned paper to decorate the car and tie it in with the rest of the card. I tried something new and used the car die to cut into the square papers on the front to give it more depth. I like the way it turned out. It took a while before my creative juices started flowing, so when I got extra ink across the center of the card, I decided I wasn't going to start over. So this is not perfection; I just wanted to play along with the challenge. I will give the card to my wonderful husband...won't he be surprised...lol.

Thanks for stoping by and have a great day.
