JUGS 39...Template Challenge!

Wow...this was a super fun project! I read the challenge this week and instantly thought of the new organic/recycle set of stamps that I recieved in the mail about a week ago by WTG called "WTG Goes Green". I try to eat as much organic, non-pesticide ridden, foods as I can, so this is my first year to grow my own organic food garden. I am enjoying being an urban gardener in Phoenix, AZ...lol. So, this was the perfect project for me...thanks JUGS girls...

I used SU's set of watercolor pencils to color in the stamped image. My most favorite saying on the set, I stamped on the neck and the two side ties "Organic is the new sexy".

Not sure who this will be for, but I have discovered more and more people growing thier own veggies too and this will make a great gift for a fellow urban gardener...

JUGS #37 "Lets get digital" challenge:

This was the first time to use digital images. I have purchased a set when MTME first opened thier website, but was intimidated by using them. This challenge encouraged me to get another set and try this challenge. I'm glad I did, becuase this was a fun challenge. It seemed like hours went by as I tried to line up the printed digi stamp with the cricut cut file image. I was finally satisfied with the placement and started printing digi stamps on digi paper. After all the paper cutting and printing...it was smooth sailing! The finished projects went together quickly. I used the darling tea cup (full size) on the card and I resized the tea cup to fit onto the front of the tea packet. I just love MTME's boxes, they are so easy to put together, and this tea packet was no different; super easy and super cute...

The secretary at my job is having surgery in a few weeks and I made this to give to her for her recovery.
