I enjoy taking a traditional recipe and changing some ingredients to ones that are more healthy for us, without changing the flavor or taste of the dish or just creating some new recipes all together. I started out using my husband as an experiment. If he liked it and couldn't tell the difference, I succeeded. Then I got a little more bold and started using my office staff as experiments too...since my boss like to eat healthy as well. There were some things that I don't make anymore, but for the most part, they enjoyed what I made for them.

I created an organic cookbook for a co-worker that was moving to a different location. I didn't take pics of that one...but I like the idea enough to make another one for my sister in law. She was interested in cooking more healthy when she asked for some recipes. I decided to make her a cookbook like the orignial with some differences. I hope you enjoy it.

Recipe:
7x9 3 ring binder; kraft card stock; EK success round punch; PTI stamps: Recipe box, Recipe box labels, and trademarks; PTI black/cream ink, and CTMH inks.

Here is a project I did for one of my co-workers baby shower. I used a PTI template and made them a baby planner to keep track of appointments, baby names they like, things she needs at the hospital, etc... I used kraft cardstock, some papers from Jo Ann's fabric store, ribbon from Michaels, twine, EK success star punches. This was inspired by Heather Nichols (Pine) post on a PTI monthly stamp countdown. The stamps used were PTIs bitty baby blessings set and start prints set. The inks used were CTMH. Enjoy!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Happy 4th of July!!! Since it is a four day weekend for me, I am going to update my blog with some of the latest project I have done. Hope it will inspire someone to take some time to create and relax...happy stamping!

My neice's birthday is comming up in a few days. It gave me a chance to try out one of my new stamp sets from PTI, cupcake collection. I used cream cardstock, butterfly cardstock from Michael's craft store, glitter, fabric (thanks PTI for the inspiration this month), and CTMH inks.

The cupcake was stamped and cut out and inserted on the iside of the card with 3D zots. I also sewed a zig zag stitch down each side of the butterfly paper to add a little different touch to my cards. I just started experimenting with sewing on my cards...since I see it on other blogs I check out.

Hopefully she will like her birhtday card. Happy 14th B-Day Rebecca!
